Fighting for Haiti
Posted April 1st, 2010 by andrebertoI will make my long awaited return to the ring in just 10 days in Fighting for Haiti. A portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales will go to my charity, the Berto Dynasty Foundation benefitting Project Medishare. My brother Cleveland I traveled to Haiti with Project Medishare just over a week after the earthquake and I saw both the devastation of the earthquake and the work that Project Medishare does firsthand.
Make sure you come out and support the cause on Saturday, April 10th when I make my fourth title defense against former World Champion Carlos Quintana. Tickets start at only $35 and a portion of the proceeds from all the tickets will go to Haitian Relief Efforts.
Stay tuned for my info on my fight and the Berto Dynasty Foundation.

Mike,
This is an organization in Orlando that I helped get started a couple years ago that owns and operates a center for children and families in Carrefour, Haiti. (Not hating, cause you know me) I know you have gotten so big that you have forgotten some of us who watched over you and supported you growing up, but I hope that maybe you will at least get in touch with one of your Haitian countrymen who is really making a difference in Haiti helping it’s children. I still stay in the same place in Winter Haven.
Glad you were successful last night, Champ!
